This structure can help people who cannot get in and out of the water themselves to swim again. Maybe they can get out of the water themselves but it is becoming increasingly difficult. This unique structure can be used on a pontoon boat, on a dock or in the right situation bolted right to the shore with a concrete base.
The frame is made from high strength aluminum. Aluminum is the chosen material because it is light, strong, easy to work with, and rust proof. The chain hoist is attached to an I-beam trolley and then attached to the chain hoist is a hammock seat which holds a person from falling in any direction. The chain hoist was chosen because of its near zero percent fail rate and is rated for an amazing 1000 lbs.
